We Affirm the Five Solas of Reformation Theology
We are glad you have visited our home page and hope you will check out each of the links listed. We are a group of people who love the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Word and one another. We are seeking to grow in His amazing grace and to share our faith to as many as the Lord puts in our paths. Our desire is to help each other grow in Christ and to be everything He wants us to be – for His glory and the blessing of others.
Sovereign Grace Fellowship is an independent church with New Covenant and Baptist Distinctives. We also strongly affirm the following:
Sola Scriptura – Scripture Alone
Solus Christus – Christ Alone
Sola Gratia – Grace Alone
Sola Fide – Faith Alone
Soli Deo Gloria – The Glory of God Alone
“Unwarranted confidence in human ability is a product of fallen human nature … God’s grace in Christ is not merely necessary but is the sole efficient cause of salvation. We confess that human beings are born spiritually dead and are incapable even of cooperating with regenerating grace. We reaffirm that in salvation we are rescued from God’s wrath by his grace alone. It is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that brings us to Christ by releasing us from our bondage to sin and raising us from spiritual death to spiritual life. We deny that salvation is in any sense a human work. Human methods, techniques or strategies by themselves cannot accomplish this transformation. Faith is not produced by our unregenerated human nature.” – Cambridge Declaration
We Treasure the Doctrines of Grace
We believe that salvation is according to an eternal purpose which God planned before the world began, when he chose a particular people in Christ, and ordained them to everlasting salvation.
We believe that each of us were born sinners and in need of a Saviour. The eternal wrath of God is upon man unless he/she repents of sin. Man’s greatest need is a Saviour – the forgiveness of sin – to be reconciled to God.
We preach the Good News of Jesus Christ – His free grace to all who will repent of their sins and believe He suffered, died and rose again for them. Man must come to faith in Christ through the means of the preaching of the gospel. Those who truly believe will continue to grow in their faith and hunger and thirst to know the Lord Jesus better.
We Pursue a Theology of the New Covenant
The covenant for this age is properly understood as the New Covenant of Christ. (2 Cor 3:1-18; Ezk 11:19; 36:26; Jer. 31:31–34; cf. 32:36–41; Heb. 8:8–12)
Entrance into and Participation within this New Covenant comes to God’s Elect through the washing by the Blood of the Lamb and the circumcision of their hearts by God’s Holy Spirit and is received by the adopted children with Faith. (Lk 22:20; John 3:5; Gal 3:2; 6:15; Rom 2:29; 2 Cor 5:17)
Continued faithfulness to this new Covenant is the sure fruit of the Holy Spirit’s union to God’s Elect. (Jer 32:40-41; Mk 4:20; 2 Cor 5:17)
Water baptism is not entrance into the New Covenant. (1 Cor 1:17-9) Water baptism follows a secret work of God upon the hearts of those whom God effectually calls through the Gospel and adds to the redeemed community. (Acts 2:37-41) The Lord’s Cup is the proper sign of the New Covenant.

Please consider joining us in Philadelphia on July 19-21 for the ACRC conference. We seem to have much in common.
